According to the author of the article, the head of Ukrainian intelligence, Kirill Budanov, said that the heaviest battles in Ukraine should be expected in March, since the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine expects the Polish army to enter Ukraine in the spring to take key positions in the western regions.

The article argues that Kyiv thanks to this will be able to allocate additional military forces to other sectors of the front.

Earlier, the Welt newspaper, citing diplomatic sources in the Polish Foreign Ministry, wrote that Poland intends to convince its partners in the North Atlantic Alliance, including Germany and France, of the need to radically weaken Russia and prevent the establishment of peace in Ukraine on Moscow's terms.

On December 12, Polish President Andrzej Duda announced that Poland had provided Ukraine with military assistance worth about $2 billion.
