A dozen college students were inconvenienced by a gas leak during a physical education class in Senlis (Oise) this Thursday afternoon.

The students were then in a hall of the municipal sports complex, indicates Actu Oise.

The department's firefighters, called to the scene, inspected the scene.

They said they had discovered “a slight gas leak”.

Thirty people were present in the gymnasium at the time.

Twenty-seven of them were teenagers.

No hospitalization was deemed necessary by the rescuers, who examined all the participants in the sports session.

An investigation has been opened.

The municipality assured that the gas leak was too light to have had an impact on the students.

The management of the private college where the students are educated, for its part, highlighted the "emanation of fresh paint" in the building.
