Ahead of the People's Power National Convention, party runners declare their candidacy and start a full-fledged three rally.

Following Rep. Cheol-soo Ahn’s declaration of running for party representative today (9th), Rep. Kim Ki-hyun, who previously declared running, also holds a camp opening ceremony.

Rep. Ahn Cheol-soo, the power of the people, officially declared his candidacy for the party representative election to be held on March 8th.

Rep. Ahn threw his vote, saying that he would become a representative who would support President Yoon Seok-yeol, not a representative who relied on the power of President Yoon Seok-yeol.

He said that the forefront of the general election is the metropolitan area, and that he is the right person to lead the next general election victory.

The chairman of the election countermeasures committee for the primary election is former lawmaker Kim Young-woo, who is an old pro-Lee faction and from the third term.

On the 27th of last month, Rep. Kim Ki-hyun, who declared running for party representative, will hold an election camp opening ceremony in Yeouido today.

Former President Lee Myung-bak also sent a congratulatory message saying that Rep. Kim played a big role in the regime change.

It was also reported that President Yoon Seok-yeol personally called and congratulated Rep. Kim, who had his son's marriage last weekend.

Na Gyeong-won, vice chairman of the Low Birth Rate and Aging Society Committee, who was criticized by the presidential office for saying he was reviewing a system that cancels debts during childbirth, suspended the official schedule yesterday after leaving a Facebook message saying, "I'm sorry for causing misunderstanding."

While officials in the presidential office said they were considering dismissing the vice chairman, Na was said to be still contemplating whether to run for the party's representative.
