• Sports The Mossos investigate a complaint against Dani Alves for sexual assault on a woman in a nightclub

The Investigating Court number 15 of Barcelona is investigating the former Brazilian Barça player Daniel Alves for an alleged sexual assault committed on the night of December 30-31 at the Sutton nightclub in Barcelona.

A local client denounced that Alves allegedly groped her under his underwear without his consent when he was with some friends at the local.

Following this alleged attack, the victim and her friends alerted the nightclub's security personnel, who activated the relevant protocol in these cases and notified the Mossos d'Esquadra.

The agents took her statement from the woman and other witnesses from her and took her to a health center for examination.

However, the player was not there when they arrived.

Two days later, the woman ratified the complaint to the police who were investigating the alleged sexual assault.

Alves had already gone to Mexico to join Los Pumas, the team from that country in which he plays.

The court has received the police report with the complaint as well as the report of the specialized groups in attention to the victims of sexual assaults of the Mossos who accompanied the woman at all times.

At the time of him, the Brazilian player denied any sexual assault at the disco, where he was for a short time, according to sources around him.
