On Sunday afternoon, January 8, in the south-west of Moscow, a fire broke out in one of the apartments of a 19-storey residential building on Dmitry Ulyanov Street.
“Fire and rescue units rescued four people from the 14th floor during reconnaissance and extinguishing the fire.
Unfortunately, there are dead.
By the measures taken, the fire was eliminated at 14:56, ”the ministry said in a statement.
Information about the fire was confirmed by the prosecutor's office of the capital.
“The Moscow Prosecutor’s Office controls the establishment of all the circumstances and causes of what happened, the course and results of the procedural check, as well as the adoption of a procedural decision, including the initiation of a criminal case,” the report says.

At the same time, the supervisory authority noted that signs of violent death in the form of gunshot wounds were found on the bodies of the dead.
In the capital's department of the Investigative Committee, in turn, opened a criminal case into the murder of two or more persons.
According to the preliminary version of the investigation, the man fired shots in the direction of his mother and sister, who died at the scene from their injuries.
After that, the attacker set fire to the apartment and committed suicide.
“Investigators and criminologists of the Moscow Investigative Committee are working at the scene.
The circumstances and causes of the incident are being established,” the ministry added.
Murder in the suburbs
On January 8, it became known that a 36-year-old citizen of a foreign state was arrested in the city of Mytishchi near Moscow, accused of killing a 50-year-old colleague.
According to the department of the Investigative Committee for the Moscow Region, on January 4, in the kitchen of a cafe, a conflict occurred between the accused and her colleague on the basis of a sudden personal hostile relationship.
During it, the woman stabbed the victim, as a result of which he died.
“Currently, a complex of investigative actions is being carried out aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the incident.
The investigator conducted an inspection of the scene, seized a video recording of the circumstances of the crime from a video surveillance camera, interrogated witnesses, and appointed forensic, molecular genetic and biological examinations, ”the message says.
Gas explosion in Khasavyurt
On the night of January 8, on the first floor of a high-rise building on Datuev Street in Khasavyurt, a gas explosion occurred in the basement of a single-entrance apartment building.
According to the mayor's office, five people were injured, two of them were hospitalized.
“Fortunately, thanks to the promptness of the rescuers, there were no casualties, but there are victims, two of whom were hospitalized in the central hospital of Khasavyurt in a mild condition.
I instructed the Minister of Health to keep this issue under personal control, ”wrote the head of Dagestan Sergey Melikov in his Telegram channel.
The head of the republic also noted that all residents who were forced to leave their apartments were offered temporary accommodation in a local hotel: “They will be provided with all the necessary assistance.
The timing of the restoration of the house will be determined after a detailed examination of specialists, including resource supply companies.”
The Investigative Committee of Dagestan opened a criminal case under the article "Production, storage, transportation or sale of goods and products, performance of work or provision of services that do not meet safety requirements."
In turn, the prosecutor's office organized an audit, during which an assessment will be made of compliance with the requirements of the law in the operation of gas equipment.
