Two days before the presentation of the text in the National Assembly, the government must manage two fronts at the same time: the social unrest which is increasingly heard and the return of the deputies to the hemicycle after three weeks of vacation.

The tension had already been palpable for months and the debates promise to be passionate in advance.

It is an explosive comeback that awaits the National Assembly.

This Monday, the deputies return to the benches of the hemicycle after three weeks of vacation.

Since June, the executive has had to deal with an assembly without a majority and very heated debates.

"This assembly is unstable", confided in particular a minister.

And the subjects of cleavage will accumulate as soon as the deputies return, with, at the top of the list, the pension reform.

The threat is barely veiled: if the government tries to force the text through, the Republicans will try to bring down the government, with the help of the National Rally and the Nupes.

But for the right, it is a dangerous game because their voters would surely not forgive this choice.

A fight carried by the Nupes

This fight against pension reform is also the last chance for the Union of the Left.

Indeed, if the Nupes fails to form a common front, then its future is definitely compromised.

A challenge not easy to achieve when all eyes will be on the benches of rebellious France… but to observe the eventful return of Adrien Quatennens.

The deputy must return to his duties, after being convicted of domestic violence.

Finally, the solemn vote on the deployment of renewable energies, Tuesday at the assembly, risks turning into a fiasco for the government because the left should finally vote against.
