North Korean leader Kim Jong-un is believed to have turned 39 on January 8, his birthday.

North Korea celebrates the birthdays of his grandfather, Kim Il-sung (Kim Il-sung) and his father, Kim Jong-il (Kim Jong-il), as national holidays. There are no public holidays on the calendar, and no national celebrations are planned.

In a speech at the end of last month, General Secretary Kim just announced a policy to rapidly increase the number of nuclear warheads possessed by mass-producing tactical nuclear weapons along with the development of a new ICBM = intercontinental ballistic missile.

Under these circumstances, state television recently posted a photo of General Secretary Kim's visit with his daughter to a facility where more than 20 warheads of the Hwasong-12 medium-range ballistic missile are lined up. A video of the presentation ceremony of the short-range ballistic missile called "super-large rocket launcher" was broadcasted.

Kim seems to be trying to increase his centripetal force by showing off his achievements in nuclear and missile development, which is set to accelerate further this year.
