Two thermal power plants were damaged as a result of shelling by Ukrainian armed groups of the settlements of Novy Svet and Zugres in the DPR, the representative office of the republic at the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of Issues Related to War Crimes of Ukraine reported.

We are talking about Starobeshevskaya and Zuevskaya TPPs.

It is also indicated that the Armed Forces of Ukraine fired six missiles from the MLRS and one missile from the Tochka-U operational-tactical missile system.

“Emergency services are working at the site of the shelling, sorting out the rubble.

Presumably, at least two people (staff employees) may be under the rubble,” the administration of the Starobeshevsky district told TASS.

Also, the representative office of the DPR in the JCCC noted that over the past day, two people were injured as a result of shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the territory of the Donetsk People's Republic.

In total, over the past 24 hours, the territory of the DPR was shelled 33 times by the Ukrainian military, who fired 178 units of various ammunition from 155, 152 and 122 mm artillery and 120 mm mortars, as well as from MLRS.

“17 housing constructions were damaged in the Kirovsky and Petrovsky districts of Donetsk, the Nikitovsky district of Gorlovka and Verkhnetoretsky, as well as three civilian infrastructure facilities,” the official information summary of the DPR JCCC says.
