The window is a gift to the cathedral.

It has been designed by Erika Lagerbielke and produced in collaboration with glass master Per Hebsgaard.

It is the altar down in the crypt that celebrates the 900th anniversary.

Just above sits the new window in colors that will represent both John the Baptist and the Virgin Mary.

The 35-ton church roof was lifted off

Last year the cathedral's "hats" were lifted off and now stand next to the church under tents to be renovated.

They are to be put back in place during the anniversary year 2023, but exactly when that will happen is not completely nailed down yet.
