“The official bodies of the PRC provinces bordering Primorye have begun to notify the Russian side of the resumption of passenger traffic through checkpoints,” Krepsky wrote in his Telegram channel.

It is noted that to date, a notification has been received about the start of work on January 8 at the Pogranichny-Suifenhe checkpoint. 

Also, the authorities of Primorye in the near future are waiting for clarifications on the mode of operation of checkpoints and the conditions necessary for tourists to cross the border.

Earlier, the Russian Foreign Ministry announced the need to restore passenger traffic with China.
