A fire started in an apartment on the second floor of an apartment building in Rågsved at 8.30 pm on Saturday evening.

The fire has now been put out by the emergency services and the police have cordoned off an area around the apartment building in question.

- Smoke divers have been on site and the fire is now out.

We remain on the scene for follow-up and to ventilate the apartment, says Hans Eriksson, control operator at the Stockholm Fire Brigade.

A man has been taken to hospital with unknown injuries.

It is still unclear how the fire started.

According to Ola Österling at the police, there is no connection between this fire and the previous explosion in Rågsved on New Year's Eve.

A preliminary investigation into public negligence has been launched.
