More than a dozen trains of the high-speed lines that link Madrid with Andalusia and Levante are suffering delays this Saturday due to
an incident registered at the height of the town of Torrejón de Velasco (Madrid)

At first, Renfe reported that the incident, which occurred this Saturday morning, was due to a landslide in Torrejón de Velasco, although it has subsequently indicated that it was caused by the winding of an external element, specifically a sheet metal.

the breakdown of the braking and stopping system of a Madrid-Seville train
at the height of the aforementioned municipality, Adif has detailed through a publication on its Twitter profile.
This impact has forced it to circulate on a single track at that point due to the stoppage of the affected train, AVE 2100, whose passengers have been transferred to another train at noon to finally reach their destination several hours late.
During the transfer, the circulation of trains between Madrid and Andalusia/Castilla-La Mancha between Yeles and the Torrejón de Velasco bifurcation was suspended, as indicated by Adif.
