The alarm about the avalanche came shortly after 1 pm on Friday afternoon.
Three Swedes are said to have been involved in the accident.
Two of them are seriously injured and they are taken by helicopter to hospital, the Norwegian police told NRK.
Due to bad weather, the police did not know if it would be possible to pick up the skiers, but in the end the helicopter succeeded and was able to take them to hospital.
The third person is not said to be seriously injured and is receiving help on the spot, writes NRK.
There is a weather warning in the area, as the wind is strong.
