Matignon, the Ministry of the Economy, that of the Ecological Transition… all these buildings were the target of the “Last renovation” collective.

Several activists from the environmental movement sprayed the facades with orange paint.

This Friday, four activists were fined for their damage.

Four activists from the environmental collective "Last renovation" will have to pay 750 euros each and follow citizenship courses after having sprayed orange paint Matignon and the Ministry of Finance, said Friday the Paris prosecutor's office requested by AFP.

One of the two women was the subject of a criminal order forcing her to a fine of 750 euros as well as to a citizenship course, according to the prosecution.

The other was notably accused of intentional violence without incapacity on a person holding public authority, after having briefly directed his extinguisher filled with paint towards a customs official intervening to arrest him.

She was presented on Friday to a magistrate who notified her of a "citizen contribution" of 750 euros (a sum to be paid to an association for victim support) as well as her obligation to participate in a citizenship course, according to the prosecution of Paris.
