It has been confirmed that the time at which the infiltration of a North Korean drone was first detected was actually six minutes earlier than the time initially announced by the military.

I caught something coming over, but there is a high possibility that there was confusion about whether this was a drone, but even the fact that the drone infiltrated the military unit guarding Seoul was not propagated for more than an hour was revealed as a result of SBS coverage.

On the 26th of last month, on the day of the North Korean drone incident, the Joint Chiefs of Staff announced that the first detection time of the North Korean drone was 10:25 am.

However, as a result of the investigation into the war preparedness inspection room, the first detection time was corrected to 10:19 am, 6 minutes earlier than this, and it was confirmed by SBS coverage.

At 10:19 am, the local air defense radar of the 1st Corps had already detected an unmanned aerial vehicle in the North Korean area, and at 10:25 am, the tracking of the unmanned aerial vehicle approaching the Military Demarcation Line was additionally confirmed.

It is likely that there was internal confusion in ascertaining that the object caught on radar for six minutes between 10:19 and 25:00 was a North Korean drone.

This wasn't the only problem.

While the drone passed through the Han River between Gimpo and Paju and headed towards Seoul, the Capital Defense Command in charge of defending Seoul did not know this fact for nearly an hour.

Both the 1st Corps and the Joint Chiefs of Staff did not transmit information about North Korean drones approaching the Seoul no-fly zone to the Capital Defense Command.

It was revealed that the Capital Defense Command only identified the drone's tracks with its own detection assets at around 11:30 am.

If the Capital Defense Command had identified the drone trend earlier with the radio waves of the Joint Chiefs of Staff or the 1st Corps, it would have been able to strengthen its detection and shooting posture a little earlier, but that opportunity was missed.

It is known that the military is reviewing inspections to cover problems in the response process and responsibility, saying that it had not identified the tracks of the North Korean drone until the 1st.
