Meccti, a company specializing in the recruitment of air hostesses, is suspected of having forced candidates to undress.

The facts occurred on November 5, 2022 in a hotel near Madrid airport (Spain).

Recruiters reportedly asked candidates to put on their underwear in order to weed out those with certain physical characteristics like scars or tattoos.

"I don't fuck people with scars"

Interviewed by the Spanish media, three women recounted their traumatic experience.

"He asked me to pull up my dress," recalls one of them, still shocked.

“I lifted it up a bit, it came down to just below my knee and he pulled it up to my panties.

Some candidates have also suffered sexist comments.

A young polyglot woman was rejected because she had a small scar on her eyebrow.

"The recruiter told him that he didn't care about his seven languages, and that he didn't fuck people with scars," says a candidate.

All those with glasses, apparent moles or too much body shape were thus disqualified.

These facts are coming to the surface as a new law for equal treatment and non-discrimination at work was approved by the Spanish Parliament in July 2022. For now, Meccti has not responded to requests from '

Via its Instagram account, however, the company announced upcoming recruitment sessions in Spain, without giving dates.
