A few days ago, Jordan Bardella, the president of the National Rally, sent a letter to the 33,000 bakers in France to assure them of his support, at a time when their bills, in particular electricity, continue to increase.

For the RN, the objective is to attract this new electorate and to try to assert itself as the party of purchasing power.

Pending the arrival of the parliamentary debate on pension reform in the National Assembly, the National Rally is focusing on the subject of soaring energy prices.

Its president, Jordan Bardella, wrote a letter to the 33,000 bakers in France to assure them of his support.

Despite the aid announced by the government, the bills multiplied by three or four risk pushing more than one to close.

For the RN, this is an opportunity to assert itself as the party of purchasing power.

Recover this electorate

In the continuity of the turn taken by Marine Le Pen during the last presidential election, the party to the flame thus multiplies the initiatives on the subject.

All party officials are invited to support their bakers this weekend.

Jordan Bardella wrote them a public letter on Tuesday, while Marine Le Pen addressed them in a video released Wednesday evening.

The president of the RN group in the National Assembly hammers home the party's flagship argument: getting out of the European energy market, which indexes the price of electricity to that of gas.

"Taking back control of the price of electricity would allow us to once again set regulated tariffs not only for households, but also for all businesses. Saving our craftsmen does not require exorbitant expenses, but political courage to finally defend the interests of France in Europe", says Marine Le Pen.

This measure is intended to be structural, the opposite, according to the party, of that taken by the government in recent days.

The RN seizes a carrier subject.

Firstly because the baguette has a popular and identity aspect.

Then, because craftsmen represent an electorate with whom Marine Le Pen can progress.

In the first round, last April, only 10% of them trusted him.
