“Fighter aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces near the city of Kramatorsk in the Donetsk People’s Republic and the settlement of Novopavlovka in the Nikolaev region shot down MiG-29 and Su-25 aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force,” the statement says.
Also, the Russian military destroyed a warehouse of rocket and artillery weapons of a unit of foreign mercenaries in the Kramatorsk region.
On January 1, a Russian fighter shot down a Mi-8 helicopter of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the sky over Poltavka in the DPR.
