The relatively stable voter opinion reinforces the image that the government has lost a lot of support since the parliamentary election.

Overall, the opposition parties have voter support that is over six percentage points higher than the voter support for the parties that function as a basis for the government.

The rise of the Social Democrats stands out in particular, where voter support since the election has increased by over four percentage points.

- The problem for Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson (M) is that they went to the election to reduce crime, lower electricity prices and lower fuel prices.

There, the voters can state that not much has happened since the election.

This naturally means that the credibility of the current government is negatively affected, says SVT's domestic policy commentator Mats Knutson.

Four parties close to the Riksdag barrier

At the same time, the voter barometer shows that at least four parties have quite big concerns.

Both the Green Party, the Liberals and the Christian Democrats are hovering near the Riksdag barrier, while the Center Party is now only a little over a percentage point above this low level.

The question is how long the opposition can be expected to maintain its lead among voters.

- Going forward, it will of course be extremely important for Ulf Kristersson's government to deliver.

Above all, it is about showing results when it comes to crime, says Mats Knutson.

- But perhaps the issue of electricity prices is an equally important issue.

Electricity prices have skyrocketed and these parties that form the basis of government have been very clear that electricity prices must go down and that consumers must be compensated.

Another election promise that may be more difficult to fulfill is the issue of lower fuel prices.
