Shortly after 10 p.m. on Tuesday, the police received an alert about a rape outdoors in Tullinge, south of Stockholm.

A private person then stated that she had taken care of a woman who had been assaulted and raped by an unknown man.

The incident occurred under threats of violence in a forest area near Tullingebergsvägen, the police report on their website.

With the help of clues, surveillance cameras and dog tracking, it was later possible to arrest a 35-year-old suspect.

The man was arrested in a residence and was also suspected of an attempted robbery against another woman in Tullinge, which must have taken place shortly before the rape took place.
