Recently, China announced that it will implement "Class B and B control" for the new coronavirus infection, and introduced interim measures for the exchange of Chinese and foreign personnel. Many countries welcome this.

However, some countries have begun to take temporary epidemic prevention measures for passengers from China in the past few days.

Mao Ning, spokesperson of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said at a regular press conference on January 3 that after China announced the interim measures on the exchange of Chinese and foreign personnel, many countries responded enthusiastically. Control measures will create better conditions for the safe, healthy and orderly exchanges of Chinese and foreign personnel, and better guarantee foreign exchanges and cooperation.

Mao Ning said that I would like to express China's attitude again on the issue of temporary epidemic prevention measures for Chinese tourists.

We are willing to strengthen communication with the international community and work together to overcome the epidemic. At the same time, we also believe that some countries have no scientific basis for restricting entry to China, and some excessive practices are even more unacceptable.

We firmly oppose the practice of manipulating epidemic prevention and control measures to achieve political goals, and will take corresponding measures in accordance with the principle of reciprocity according to different situations.
