A 32-year-old man was shot and killed in this town on the outskirts of Lyon.
The Lyon prosecutor's office has opened an investigation for "murder in an organized gang following the shootings that caused the death" of the thirties.
The incident took place around 5 p.m.
The investigation was entrusted to the judicial police, said the prosecution, without further details.
Shortly before 6 p.m., on Twitter, the Rhône prefecture warned of an operation in the Avenue des Sources district in Ecully and asked to avoid the area.
