Much more than a warning, the presidential announcement clearly looked like a threat.

Paul Biya reiterated, a year apart and in similar circumstances, that dark days were ahead for unscrupulous managers, that those who illicitly enrich themselves by robbing the state will be held accountable, he said. -he notably attacked, denouncing the persistence of corruption and its harmful effects on the economy and society as a whole.
