It is noted that the note was delivered to the Polish Foreign Ministry on January 3.

“According to the German government, the issue of reparations and compensation for military losses in Poland remains closed, and the German government does not intend to negotiate on this issue,” RIA Novosti reports.

The Polish Foreign Ministry clarifies that the country's government will continue efforts to settle debts associated with the Second World War.

In October, Polish Foreign Minister Zbigniew Rau signed a note demanding reparations from Germany for damages caused during World War II.

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz noted that the issue of reparations to Poland is regulated by international law.
