An investigation was opened after the discovery of a dead man and a woman in a coma, in an apartment in Levallois-Perret (Hauts-de-Seine), Saturday afternoon.
Seeing his parents no longer wake up, it was the couple's child who called for help through the window.
A police officer, who was not on duty, heard his call for help.
The 6-year-old boy then threw the keys at her so that she could enter the apartment.
The father had already been dead for several hours, his body was in a state of rigor mortis.
Alcohol and drugs
His partner was lying on the bed, alive, but unconscious.
Aged 45, she was taken in absolute urgency to a Parisian hospital.
His vital prognosis was engaged.
She was still in a coma the day after the incident.
Dispatched to the scene, the police discovered bottles of alcohol and drugs near the bodies.
An autopsy of the body of the 65-year-old father was to be performed earlier this week.
