A 22-year-old young man was violently attacked in Lieusaint (Seine-et-Marne) on Friday evening.

While he was waiting at a bus stop, he was attacked by a dozen people, reports

The incident took place shortly before 8 p.m.

Vital prognosis not committed

The young man was kicked and punched.

Then he had his mobile phone stolen before being stabbed four times.

Witnesses to the scene, passers-by immediately came to his aid.

A nurse, present on the spot, examined him and assured that his vital prognosis was not engaged.

He was then taken to hospital.

Seven suspects, aged 17 to 20, were arrested in the process by the police.

They are from Seine-et-Marne and Seine-Saint-Denis.

Three of them were released on Saturday evening.

The other four were referred to the Melun prosecutor's office and placed under judicial supervision.

Placed in pre-trial detention, the alleged perpetrator of the stab wounds will be judged by the court.
