As RIA Novosti points out, on December 31, about 30 volunteers arrived at the training center of the Wagner group in the village of Molkino, Krasnodar Territory.

Men traveled to the center from different Russian regions.

“You can put it off forever, but we are needed now,” said one of the volunteers who arrived at the center before the holidays.

As another of the visitors, who had not previously served in the army, but was fond of hunting, noted, he is familiar with weapons and came to prepare, as “the time has come to serve his country”

“There are good instructors here, they explain everything very well and thoroughly,” he said.

The volunteer also added that it is "a great honor and joy" for him to celebrate the New Year in the circle of like-minded people.

The agency clarifies that the center conducts a serious check before including volunteers in its composition: they check their physical fitness, find out their motives, conduct interviews with them, study their past.

Earlier, Tatyana Moskalkova, Commissioner for Human Rights under the President of Russia, advocated equal social support for volunteers participating in a special military operation and military personnel.
