A 66-year-old skier died on Monday at the Pasteur hospital in Nice, reports

She had been hospitalized and plunged into a coma on December 27 after a skiing accident in the resort of La Foux d'Allos (Alpes-de-Haute-Provence).
According to the first elements collected, the victim hit a wall when leaving the resort's ski area.
The investigation opened by the Digne-les-Bains prosecutor's office was entrusted to the Jausiers high mountain gendarmerie platoon.
