The initiatives varied between educational, health, life, cultural and others, especially in times of crises and disasters, such as the “Covid-19” pandemic. Under the directives of His Highness, initiatives such as “one million meals” and “one billion meals” and others were launched.

The Mohammed bin Rashid Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation was able to provide aid in 31 countries, and it was not limited to poor countries, but also extended to countries such as the United States and Japan.

On April 22, the Foundation, in cooperation with Dubai Municipality, implemented the Iftar project for the fasting person, which is part of the "One Billion Meals" initiative.

It also carried out a number of urgent relief projects, built a number of schools and medical clinics, and equipped a number of hospitals with the necessary medical materials.

In the Philippines, the Foundation participated in the relief of those affected by the devastating Typhoon Haiyan, which caused massive destruction and loss of life and property, as food and relief aid amounted to 117 tons, and the number of beneficiaries reached 5,000 families.

The Foundation implemented a relief program to alleviate the suffering of those affected by Hurricanes Gustav and Ike in the states of Louisiana and Texas, in cooperation with the American Life Foundation for Development and Relief, as an extension of its efforts to provide relief to victims of natural disasters around the world. The Foundation distributed building materials to those affected by the Tohoku earthquake, which resulted in a tsunami in the Pacific Ocean, to enable those affected to rebuild and restore their homes.

It sent a relief plane to help the areas affected by the torrential rains in Yemen, established four schools and four clinics equipped with medical and educational supplies, and sent a number of shipments containing medical medicines and various relief materials.

Relief was provided to those affected by the devastating floods in Pakistan and relief to those affected in the Balakot region from the earthquake that struck Pakistan. The Mohammed bin Rashid village was built for those affected whose homes were demolished, and it contains 60 homes, in addition to a school and a hospital. The Foundation contributed to the construction of two schools and mosques in Kosovo, which suffered the effects of the devastating ethnic war.

The Foundation implements several programs in Kenya, including relief for those affected by drought in camps for the displaced, distributing foodstuffs, digging surface wells and building mosques, providing breakfast for fasting people, as well as sending shipments of in-kind materials.

The Foundation continues to support everyone in need in order to provide a decent life for people.

Urgent relief operations were organized to contribute to assisting those affected by the events in Libya in order to alleviate their suffering, heal their wounds, console them in their afflictions, and improve their humanitarian conditions in light of the circumstances they went through, and 15 new ambulances were provided to treat the injured and sick and provide relief and food materials.

In response to the call of humanity, the Foundation went to help the state of Mali and provide relief to its people and provide them with assistance. A delegation headed by Saleh Zahir, the Foundation's director, supervised the distribution of foodstuffs and provided the necessary support.

The Foundation established an operations room to manage relief operations and humanitarian assistance for those affected by the devastating earthquake that struck Nepal and caused a lot of damage to property and lives in the affected areas, where the delegation distributed food parcels after it had purchased them from the local market and redistributed them into food parcels and transported them to the affected areas. Relief aid was distributed to more than 15 Nepali people affected by the earthquake that struck their country.

The Foundation continues to support the Nepalese people within the framework of post-relief assistance.

The Foundation sent a relief plane from Dubai Airport loaded with food and medical supplies to help those affected, and to participate in relief operations for those affected by the devastating earthquake in Haiti.

According to the Foundation's latest report, which it published on its website, the number of beneficiaries of aid provided by the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation in 2021 reached more than 3.3 million people.

The report stated that the volume of spending in 2021 amounted to 1.1 billion dirhams on all humanitarian and development initiatives and community programs, 91 million beneficiaries, 97 countries covered by initiatives and projects, and 17.7 million dirhams in the total value of the prizes.

The number of employees reached 571 male and female employees, and the number of volunteers reached 144,936 male and female volunteers in various humanitarian and development initiatives and projects in 2021.

The spending of 1.1 billion dirhams was distributed over five main axes: humanitarian aid and relief (417 million dirhams), health care and disease control (51.2 million dirhams), spreading education and knowledge (253 million dirhams), and innovation for the future and leadership (337 million dirhams). and empowering communities (88.7 million dirhams).
