Carcassonne police have opened an investigation after the death of a 43-year-old man who fell from a moving car in which he was a passenger.

The accident

occurred on the Carcassonne ring road during New Year's Eve.

Rescued on the roadside, the victim died of his injuries, reports the daily

According to the first elements, the forties would have jumped from the vehicle on his own during an argument with his companion who was driving.
