Baraka recalled the statement of former French President Francois Hollande, who confirmed the words of former German Chancellor Angela Merkel that the Minsk agreements were just a trick.
"Does anyone believe that the United States was not involved in this plan?"
asked the human rights activist.
Earlier, Hollande said that the Minsk agreements allowed the Ukrainian army to become stronger and “stopped the Russian offensive for a while.”
On December 7, Merkel called the Minsk agreements an attempt to give Ukraine time to “become stronger.”
She noted that today's Ukraine militarily is "not what it was in 2014-2015."
