A Terrassa court is investigating a riot police officer from the Mossos d'Esquadra for an alleged sexual assault on a trans woman whom he would have met through a dating app.
The Mossos Internal Affairs Division opened an investigation as a result of the complaint filed by the victim and, finding evidence of a crime, took her before the court, which initiated proceedings against the agent for alleged sexual assault during a meeting with the woman.
In addition, the Department of the Interior opened a disciplinary file against the agent, as TVE announced.
For the moment, the temporary suspension of the agent's employment and salary was agreed upon pending the judicial resolution as a precautionary measure.
The police officer is free with charges, according to judicial sources.
