However, François Vatel is the son of a labourer.

He was destined to work like his father in the land trades.

Historians do not know how, but he ended up entering the service of Nicolas Fouquet, the superintendent of finances, as kitchen squire at the Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte.

From that moment, his career will experience a meteoric rise... This story is a Europe 1 Studio production.
