Gazte Koordinadora Sozialista (GKS), the platform of young 'communists' that brings together groups critical of the official nationalist left, has not only won the pulse of the street with the youth mobilization in the Basque Country, but in 2022 it has begun to forge alliances with other left-wing groups from the rest of Spain.

The State Security Forces have been analyzing for months the presentations, conferences and joint calls in which groups of Abertzales integrated into GKS with groups such as Horitzó Socialista, a youth division from Arran linked to the CUP, take part.

In addition, GKS spokespersons have made presentations of their ideas in Madrid and Burgos within a so-called "socialist process" that aims to channel the discontent of thousands of young people in the face of the consequences of the economic crisis.

The Socialist Youth Coordinator has become during 2022 the internal enemy of the official nationalist left in Euskadi and Navarra, which it has displaced both in control of educational centers and in street mobilizations.

Born as a critical current in 2017 within Ernai (youth of Sortu, the party created after the outlawing of Herri Batasuna), GKS brings together local socialist councils (Kontseilu Sozialista, in Basque) with sectoral 'national' structures such as Ikasle Abertzaleak (Abertzales Students , in Basque), Jardun, Italy (communist group).

His youthful role,

Five months later, GKS still hasn't made it clear whether it will make the definitive leap to confront Sortu and EH Bildu politically, although in recent weeks it has reactivated a battle that reached its zenith last May.

GKS sympathizers who tried to collect material from a gaztetxe evicted by the Local Police in the Old Town of San Sebastián were rebuked by young radicals from Ernai and the confrontation ended with shoving and punching between the two groups while the municipal agents had to ask for reinforcements to the Ertzaintza.

The self-styled young 'communists' continue to denounce that EH Bildu has prevented them throughout the summer from setting up their booths at the patron saint festivities to abort their development as an organization and this same week three members of GKS from Hernani denounced from the City Council that EH Bildu had imposed a fine of 3,168 euros for setting up a booth without permission.

GKS, in addition, yesterday spoiled Sortu to EH Bildu the 13.8 million euros that they received "from the state coffers" both their salaries of their public offices and for different public subsidies.

"A person who earns 1,200 euros a month in fourteen payments should spend more than 800 years working and spending nothing to receive the same amount," denounced the national critics in Gedar, their communication tool.

GKS not only maintains a critical position with EH Bildu but also demands amnesty for all ETA prisoners and supports initiatives such as the tribute that prisoner Ibai Aginaga received when he left prison on March 13.

About twenty organizers are being investigated by the National Court.

In addition, the youth from Abertzale support ETA members like Iñaki Bilbao,
