According to RIA Novosti, the Ministry of Transport of Russia in 2022 made appropriate changes to the rules for transportation by rail.
From September 1, 2023, at the request of the conductor, the passenger on the lower shelf will have to let in a fellow traveler from the upper one in the morning from 7:00 to 10:00 and in the evening from 19:00 to 21:00, a neighbor from above must be allowed in for no longer than half an hour.
Another hour for the passenger from the top shelf is due from 12:00 to 15:00.
The Federal Passenger Company (FPC) previously reported that from January 2023, tariffs for the transportation of passengers in compartments, sleeping cars (CB) and luxury cars will increase.
