In Burkina Faso, tension has subsided in the camp of the national commando training and special operations training center where soldiers demonstrated on Friday by sequestering certain hierarchical leaders.

According to security sources, it was an outburst of soldiers who were demanding their food bonuses.

The soldiers of the commando training and special operations training center were angry with the corps commander.

They demanded his resignation.

These soldiers asked for their bonuses for courses already completed, internal missions and food.

They had arrested the deputy head of the corps and the treasurer.

After discussions, an officer was assigned to manage day-to-day affairs pending the appointment of a new commanding officer.

Calm has returned to the barracks but the corps commander is still missing.

”.
