According to the authorities and the media, at least 17 refugees died in several boat accidents in the Mediterranean Sea.

25 other occupants of the boat were rescued, as the news website "Hespress" reported. Eight other people were therefore missing. According to the Lebanese army, two other people died in a boat accident off the coast of Lebanon on Saturday.
