According to him, at the moment there are more than 1.2 thousand captured Ukrainian soldiers in the Lugansk People's Republic, not counting those who were released during the exchanges.

“All of them are being held in accordance with international law, there are no obstacles to the access of employees of the International Committee of the Red Cross and the United Nations to the prisoners,” said Pasechnik.

Earlier, a Ukrainian prisoner of war spoke about cases of harassment by foreign mercenaries towards the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
