The Joint Chiefs of Staff captured three short-range ballistic missiles launched by North Korea into the East Sea from the area of ​​Junghwa County, North Hwanghae Province, from around 8:00 this morning.



North Korea's ballistic missile provocation comes eight days after it fired two short-range solid-propelled ballistic missiles in the Sunan area of ​​Pyongyang on the 23rd.



North Korea resumed its ballistic missile provocations today, the day after South Korean military authorities announced that they had successfully conducted a test flight of a solid-propellant space launch vehicle yesterday.



The military is analyzing the ballistic missile's flight distance, altitude, and speed.



The military said it is maintaining a full readiness posture while closely cooperating with the US while strengthening surveillance and vigilance.
