As the interlocutor noted, Turkey agreed to withdraw its military from the positions that "it occupies in the north."

Ankara also expressed respect for the sovereignty of Syria. 

At the same time, the participants agreed that the formations of the PKK banned in Turkey “are agents of Israel and the United States” and pose a threat to both Turkey and Syria.

Earlier, the Syrian Ministry of Defense said that the meeting of the heads of the Syrian and Turkish defense ministries Ali Mahmoud Abbas and Hulusi Akar in Moscow was positive.
