France is getting into the CBD era.

The Council of State definitively legalized the sale of hemp flowers and leaves, thus overriding the government ban.

Indeed, CBD does not pose any health risks.

But what is it exactly?

Decryption.

CBD stands for cannabidiol.

It is one of the substances derived from hemp that most often comes in the form of a dried green plant ready to be smoked.

But unlike traditional cannabis, CBD contains less than 0.3% THC, the mind-altering substance found in cannabis.

This means that CBD leaves and flowers do not have narcotic or addictive effects.

medical use

CBD is consumed for its relaxing properties, but also anti-inflammatory.

It is sometimes used in the medical field to relieve certain pains.

It would also help fight epilepsy.

Since 2021, the sale of this substance has been legal in France.

More than 2,000 specialized shops have opened in the territory, offering CBD in different forms, for smoking, in the form of oils, cosmetics or even infusions or even candies.
