The meeting voted to pass the newly revised Wildlife Protection Law, the Reserve Personnel Law, and the decision on amending the Foreign Trade Law; it was decided to remove Wang Yi from the post of Minister of Foreign Affairs, appoint Qin Gang as Minister of Foreign Affairs, and remove Zhou Zuyi's manpower Minister of Resources and Social Security, appointed Wang Xiaoping as Minister of Human Resources and Social Security.
President Xi Jinping signed Presidential Orders No. 126, 127, 128, and 129 respectively.
Chairman Li Zhanshu presided over the meeting.
The meeting was held in a combination of on-site attendance and online video attendance. 139 members of the Standing Committee attended the meeting, and the number of participants met the quorum.
The meeting voted and passed the proposal of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress on submitting the draft amendment to the Legislative Law for deliberation, decided to submit the revised draft to the First Session of the Fourteenth National People's Congress for deliberation, and entrusted Vice Chairman Wang Chen to make an explanation to the First Session of the Fourteenth National People's Congress.
The meeting voted to approve the interpretation of Articles 14 and 47 of the National Security Law of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress.
