"There have been several accidents here before," says Maria Wiberg, who lives on the farm where the fatal accident occurred in the clip above.

During Tuesday morning, a man in his 60s died in a traffic accident.

He had driven into a stone barn wall on the Wiberg family's farm.

- It feels absolutely terrible that it has happened here, says Maria Wiberg.

National highway 41 between Borås and Varberg passes the farm only a few meters away from the residential buildings and barns.

- Not many of the cars keep the speed here at 70 km/h, but it usually goes even faster, you become quite good at hearing what speed the cars are driving at when you live here.

Over the years, several traffic accidents have occurred on the farm, and since 1979 the Swedish Transport Administration has been urged several times to move the road past the farm.

- I hope they will still move it.

There have been too many accidents here.

The accident must be investigated

The Swedish Transport Administration does not want to be interviewed, but writes in an email to SVT Nyheter Väst that they will conduct an investigation into the accident to see if there are improvements to be made to the infrastructure.

Something that is done in all fatal accidents.

At the moment, a police investigation is also underway, but we still don't know what could have caused the fatal accident.

- We still have no indications of what may have caused the accident, but we are still investigating it, says Sanna Hammarberg, preliminary investigation leader at the traffic police in Region Väst.
