In his appeal, the political scientist noted that at present, for the planned hospitalization of minors, medical institutions establish a list of documents and studies that the patient must have at the time of admission to the hospital admissions department.

In some medical organizations, this list can reach up to 30 positions.

As a result, it sometimes takes more time to collect all the necessary documents, photocopies, research results than the patient will later spend in the hospital.

At the same time, some studies are being repeated already in the hospital.

It is also important that during the research, the patient is forced to visit the clinic many times, which increases the risk of acquiring an infectious disease on the eve of hospitalization, Orlov noted.

“In this regard, I ask you to evaluate the feasibility of simplifying and standardizing the requirements for the planned hospitalization of minors for inpatient treatment in medical institutions,” the text of the appeal says.

Earlier, the State Duma proposed to provide free conditions in the hospital for parents with children under seven years old.
