The man and the then 14-year-old girl had been in contact on snapchat, and in May 2021 they would meet for the first time.
The girl has told in questioning that the man said that he had argued with his mother and she therefore offered him to sleep at her house, but not in the same room.
Both the girl's mother and brother were at home at the time.
When they left went into the girl's room to watch a movie, the man soon said he wanted her to suck him.
She said no, but the man still took off his pants and pushed her head down.
The man has admitted the incident in questioning, but said that he did not know that the girl was a minor and that she did not say no to sex.
However, the Kalmar district court considers that the man reasonably knew that the girl was a minor, as they had been in contact for a long time, and that the man already knew parts of her family.
Therefore, he is sentenced to 1 year and two months in prison for child rape.
