Brazilian soccer emperor Pele passed away today (30th) at the age of 82.
The soccer emperor, now a legend, left footprints such as winning three World Cups and becoming the youngest player to score in a World Cup.

The Associated Press reported that soccer emperor Pele, who had been hospitalized in a hospital in Sao Paulo, Brazil since the end of last month and was receiving treatment for colon cancer, passed away today at the age of 82.
Pele's daughter shared the news of her father's death on social media with the caption, "Thank you. I love you forever. Rest in peace."
Born in Brazil in 1940, Pele made his professional debut at the age of 15.
At the age of 16, he was selected for the Brazil national football team and led Brazil to the 1958 World Cup in Sweden, becoming the youngest player to score a goal.
After winning the 1962 and 1970 World Cup trophies for his home country Brazil, Pele retired in 1977.
He scored 77 goals in 92 appearances for the Brazilian national team, tying him with Neymar for the all-time record for most goals for the Brazilian national team.
After his retirement, he served as a UNICEF ambassador and served as Brazil's Minister of Sports, focusing on fighting corruption in the sporting world.
Pele was named the best athlete of the 20th century by the International Olympic Committee in 1999 and the player of the century by the International Football Federation in 2000.
Diagnosed with colorectal cancer two years ago, Pele has since undergone chemotherapy.
However, since last month, his condition has deteriorated rapidly and he was hospitalized, and eventually passed away today at the age of 82, becoming a legend in the world football world.
