Lead] As travel restrictions are lifted soon in China, where the number of corona confirmed cases has increased significantly, it is expected that the number of tourists coming to Korea will increase.

In preparation for this, the Korean government has come up with quarantine measures.

People coming from China must undergo two corona tests, and short-term travel is virtually prohibited.

The light at the Incheon International Airport Corona Test Center is off.

All medical staff withdrew as the PCR test for entrants disappeared from last October, but it is expected to resume operations for entrants from China next week.

The government requires travelers arriving from China to undergo a PCR or rapid antigen test (RAT) for medical staff within 48 hours prior to entry.

You must also undergo a PCR test within one day of entering the country.

Pre-entry inspection starts on the 5th of the following month, and post-entry inspection starts on the 2nd.

Foreigners on short-term stays must wait for the results to come after being tested at the airport.

Temporary facilities for isolating confirmed patients will also reopen.

Chinese diplomatic missions have decided to limit the issuance of short-term visas until the end of next month to prevent short-term tourists from entering the country as much as possible.

The number of flights operated will be reduced from 65 to 62 per week, and all flights from China will be unified into Incheon Airport.

In order to reduce the confusion and quarantine burden at the arrival hall, the government has again made the quarantine information pre-entry system 'Q Code' mandatory for flights departing from China.

This measure will be in effect until the end of February, and may be extended depending on the situation.
