Soon, Eje sets off its last fireworks in Gävle: "One of the largest in the Nordics"

At 4 p.m. on New Year's Eve, a long tradition of large fireworks in Gävle comes to an end.

For many years it was Gävle municipality that covered the costs of the fireworks.

But in recent years, it has been Eje Berglund himself who has invited the Gävle residents and others to the fireworks.

Last New Year's Eve, there were over 20,000 people on site.

- The fact that we do it already at 4pm is because we want to reach out to families with children, says Eje Berglund.
