“The Ukrainian side, reserving the unconditional right to defend and protect its own sky, is ready to conduct an objective investigation in Ukraine of the incident that occurred on December 29 in the sky over the territory of Belarus,” the ministry said in a statement.
At the same time, Ukraine is ready to invite “authoritative experts” from among the states “not connected with support” of Russia in any form to participate in such an investigation.
Earlier, the Ministry of Defense of Belarus stated that the Ukrainian S-300 missile was shot down by air defense in the Ivanovo region.
After that, Belarus demanded that the Ukrainian authorities immediately investigate the incident.
