The police officers of the anti-crime brigade intervened Monday around 11 p.m. in Perpignan (Pyrénées-Orientales).

They arrested a 33-year-old man, suspected of death threats and apology for terrorism, reports Actu Perpignan.

The police were alerted by residents of a building.

The latter explained to them that a resident exhibited an agitated behavior on his balcony.

According to our colleagues, the 30-year-old insulted and threatened his neighbors with death.

Unarmed, he then allegedly shouted “Allahu Akbar”.

When the police arrived on the scene, he would have managed to land on the balcony of his neighbor located two floors below.

After entering the woman's apartment, the officials arrested the madman.

While in police custody, he allegedly claimed to suffer from "memory loss" due to excessive alcohol consumption.

He was placed under judicial supervision pending his judgment.
